Church Break In

We wanted to provide a quick update on events at Central on Monday, January 18. A little after 11am, a male entered our church without authorization. Alicia was working alone at the front desk at this time. She locked the office door and called the police. This male proceeded to rumage through our bathroom and coffee area while Alicia was in the office. Pastor Chuck arrived within minutes and the police arrived shortly after and Pastor Steve N arrived shortly after that.

The police arrested the male and we found out that he had been arrested several times over the past several months for similar break ins in other locations. We did not recognize the man and he had no connection to Central. We appreciate the quick response from the police, we are thankful for the safety of our staff, and we pray for the future of the man who entered our church.
